So, yeah.  It's been a long, long while.  Since my last journal entry, I moved to San Francisco for 2 years then came back to San Diego.  I bought a sports car, fell in love with it, joined a car club, blah blah blah all my money and time gone into my car.  LoL.  Meanwhile, my camera equipment is collecting dust; even new unopened boxes of lighting equipment.  This calls for a change.  I've decided to get back into photography.  The transition will be gradual since I've got other hobbies (damn you Bethesda for making Fallout 4).  I'm looking forward to shooting again.  So.. hmmm.  Where to begin?  Cars?  Fashion?  Cosplay?  Lolita?

** Update:  Writing a journal entry about cutting back on cons was a not such a good idea.  It just backfired on me.  Just added two more cons to my list; ComCom in Tijuana, Mexico and SakuraCon in Seattle, WA (>_<)

I've notice myself cutting back on con photos already.  For the past two years, I've been getting beat down with tight scheduling.  Often times, cons have been a little too stressfull as a photographer.  Please forgive me, all those whom I did not shoot with in 2011.  I hate to break promises so in 2012, I shall not make them to begin with.  This year, I plan to relax, meet new people and cruise through the year.  Instead of setting an exact time and date to shoot at cons, I'll be making a list of who's doing what and try my best to meetup and photograph them.

I'm gonna try to cut back on cons, events and gatherings this year but these are the ones I plan to attend so far.

2011 is here and the New Year resolutions are flying.  I guess it's time to make mine.  Drink less?  Nahhh, that's reserved for 2012 (thanks andy).  This year, I would like to shoot with all the people whom I said last year that I'd shoot with yet it never happened.  I think my efforts could have been better.  Most of the time, I can only see these people at cons yet I'm often too lazy to shoot because I'm busy trying to hang out with everyone and party.  I hate missing people; especially shoot ops.  So this year, I'm making a list and checking it twice before I hit the events.
